Here We Go!
Civilians are blasting off into space, and there’s no stopping it now.

The marble that we call Earth… home really, has both enthralled and contained us since the dawn of our sentience. For two-hundred thousand years, Homo sapiens have roamed this Earth, never tiring of the amazing things they could find, discover, create, and behold.
It’s been a blast.
But there’s more. We knew it the whole time. Any time we looked towards the heavens on a clear night. Any time we saw a streak of light across the sky that captivated our imaginations. You see, humans are naturally inclined to explore. Sure, many of us are quite comfortable in our day to day, but enough of us, given the slightest opportunity will take the jump.
The Dawn of a New Age
The official start of the Space Age, according to Google anyhow, is 1957. This is when Sputnik took to the skies, and humanity finally, somewhat, escaped the captivity of our little rock. Since then, we’ve seen the moon with our own eyes, we’ve sent probes to the far reaches of the solar system, to comets, and beyond.
The tentacles of the human race, have been slowly snaking their way around the solar system for years.
But… it’s always been the governments. It’s never been the Wright brothers building a rocket and taking off for the moon. Lindbergh didn’t fly solo to Mars. Amelia isn’t lost in the Kuiper belt. It’s always been coordinated efforts by large scale powers in order to further secure their power or optimize their control.
For a few years now we’ve been saying, that time is almost over. SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic have been saying they were going to take it to the next level. Sure, these companies are still massive entities, but at the end of the day they aren’t the government. Several flights, including those with their CEO’s have gone up and come back. It’s getting safer. Astronauts have been accompanying the rich to the stars.
Now it’s changed though hasn’t it. This latest flight by SpaceX isn’t the same really. An…
