All of these are worthy concerns. On the horizon I worry about another concern that has already begun to happen. In Canada, researchers were working with a COVID Vaccine and preparing for trials. China blocked the shipment of that Vaccine to Canada, and as a result those trials could not move forward.

Those trials would be behind several more promising candidates now, but if nationalism gets in the way of an appropriate global response to this pandemic, things will continue to get worse.
